Sara McKellogg, owner of Gypsy Carolina Mediaworks, is a Final Cut Pro & Avid film and video editor based out of Denver, Colorado. Having lived and traveled the world over, Sara brings a unique sensibility to her work. Her professional experience and passion for telling stories make her a versatile editor.

As an apprentice to the owner at Moondog Edit, a commercial post-production facility in New York, Sara learned the fundamentals of good editing: organization, creativity and frequent back-ups (she learned this one the hard way). Working with clients such as Victoria’s Secret, Neutrogena and Lucky Brand Jeans, Sara also became an expert at blacking tapes, loading dailies, making reels, and ordering take-out. Commercial editing provided her with a thorough understanding of the post-production process and an ability to produce high-quality work in limited time. As a freelance editor, Sara’s work has focused primarily on documentary, which has allowed her to creatively explore storytelling with visual media.
